Visa Renewal
Non-immigrant visa applicants may renew business, tourist, student,
exchange, crew, or temporary employment visas if the following conditions
are met:
- The visa to be renewed is a full-validity (24-month) multiple-entry
visa.
- The visa to be renewed should be of the same visa class and
should be still valid or expired no more than 12 months ago.
- The required application forms are completely filled. If you
meet the criteria for applying for the quota of Visa Renewal Appointment
and are able to produce the previous valid visa at the time of
the visa interview, you may proceed to schedule a visa renewal
appointment on this website.
Steps to Proceed:
Pay application fee. With rare exceptions, every applicant, including
children, must pay a non-refundable US $ 140 application fee in
NGN equivalent at Consular Current Exchange Rate and VFS's service fee N 5800 inclusive
of bank charges and VAT at UBA Plc. Carry a photocopy of your current
passport (first and the last page) for procuring a payment receipt.

Return to this website and click on "How do I Apply for a Non
Immigrant Visa" - "Schedule an Appointment" link after the fees
have been paid. You will need to use your passport number and receipt
purchase date from your UBA Plc MRV Fee Receipt towards VFS service
charges to schedule an appointment.

During the process of scheduling an appointment, you will reach
'Purpose of Travel' page where you will be asked:
- Have you been refused a visa twice within the last 12 months?
- Have you been issued a full validity visa (2 years) which is
valid or has expired less than 12 months ago?
You will be required to do self validity and based on the data
submitted, you will be directed to a special interview appointment
slot for visa renewal applicants.

Report to the U.S.
Embassy /Consulate on the appointed date and time of your
visa interview. You will need to bring your printed appointment
letter, DS-160 confirmation page, 2 recent
photographs (taken within the last 6 months), current and
all old passports and the original UBA Plc MRV fee receipt towards
U.S. visa application for $140. Applications without all of the
above and the original UBA Plc MRV fee receipt or with an incorrect
photograph will NOT be accepted.
